Cher Announces Her Final Dates at Caesars Palace in Vegas

Name the glitziest show in Vegas. Something from Cirque du Soleil? “The Lion King”? “Jubilee!”? No, no, no. It’s definitely Cher, the diva who takes the stage at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. She just announced that her three-year residency is about to end.

Her last show will be Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011. During her three-year residency, she will have performed approximately 200 shows since her contract began May 6, 2008.

You can still see her perform in the coming months. The high-energy, concert-style show features the artist’s hits including “If I Could Turn Back Time” and “Believe.” The show gives you an intimate look back through Cher’s iconic career, with vintage footage of rarely-seen “Sonny and Cher” clips and a stage that alters its scenery for every song and mood.
She uses 16 dancers and aerialists, state-of-the-art video, special effects and of course her signature breathtaking costumes, which were designed by the world-renowned fashion icon Bob Mackie.
