Model turned-cookbook author, Chrissy Teigen<\/a> brought the laughs while being interviewed by her best-friend,\u00a0celebrity hairstylist Jen Atkin, for the 2nd annual POPSUGAR Play\/Ground at Pier 94 in New York City. During their \u201cPower Your Truth\u201d conversation, Teigen surprised the audience by bringing her adorable 3-year-old daughter, Luna Stephens<\/a>, to the stage. The social-media-savvy mom of two discussed marriage, twitter, and her “happy place”.<\/span><\/div>\n

When asked if her marriage to grammy-award winning singer\/songwriter John Legend was a failure,\u200b \u200bTeigen jokingly responded, \u201cAbsolutely.\u201d She went on to say,\u00a0<\/span>\u201cI knew John would be a good dad as soon as I met him. He\u2019s very warm and loving. I knew he\u2019d be a great father to a daughter because he has so many female friends. He has so much respect for women, and he treats them as equals. He\u2019s a sensitive soul, but he\u2019s also very business savvy and straight to the point. The way he speaks to our daughter is very interactive and very \u2018adult\u2019. He\u2019d wake up with me every single time I\u2019d wake up just so I wouldn\u2019t feel like I was alone in it in those first two months of having a baby.\u201d<\/span><\/div>\n

“Being able to come to places like this where I meet women like you. Positivity with feedback and people that love you.\u201d \u201cYou guys are my friends, you\u2019re my happy place. Social media is so negative and loud when you see it. There\u2019s much more good in the world.\u201d, Teigen shared with the packed crowd.<\/span><\/div>\n

After her headlining discussion, Teigen brought her daughter to the Playground where they hit the swings before heading over to the Pop Shop where fans were waiting for her to sign copies of her book, ‘Hungry for More’.<\/span><\/div>\n
