Jennifer Zales presents
Magnificent historic Davis Islands estate, one of the first homes built on the island in 1926, and beautifully situated on a large 3-lot waterfront parcel of just under 1 acre, on one of the widest canals with bay views. Offering 160 feet of water frontage, with a dock, approximately 210 feet at the street, and located just minutes from dock to open bay. Designed by Franklin O. Adams, Jr., and built to resemble a large Spanish farmhouse, this is one of several stunning Mediterranean Revival designs built on the Island at the time. The grounds feature brick walkways, meandering paths, all set under a beautiful tree canopy with extensive privacy. Upon entry to the main home, you are greeted with original wood floors, stunning millwork, wood beams, high ceilings and a classic design, a living room, library, formal dining room, study, powder bath, granite kitchen with stainless appliances, 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths and a total of 3,462 sq. ft. A two-story 2-car garage offers an exterior stairway, balcony and is currently plumbed for living quarters. The unique detached guest cottage features 1 bed/1 bath, with kitchenette space and an additional 700 square feet that is not reflected in the total sq. ft. Additional appointments include French doors, inviting covered terrace, irrigation system, meandering paths and fenced manicured grounds, near all that downtown Tampa has to offer, shopping, dining and entertainment.
