Attorney Liana Serobian is a graduate of the USC Gould School of Law and is widely recognized for her zealous and unwavering advocacy in protecting the fundamental rights of individuals navigating the juvenile court system and beyond. Since 2005, her work has helped shape precedent-setting case law in the State of California, with her advocacy recognized in approximately 20 published appellate opinions issued by the California Courts of Appeal.

Attorney Serobian has also been involved in multiple California Supreme Court matters, including cases in which Petitions for Review were granted, resulting in remands to the Courts of Appeal. Her legal excellence has earned her numerous distinctions over the years, including Haute Lawyer, Elite Lawyer, Women in Law, and AACC Excellence Honoree awards.

Her practice focuses primarily on appellate advocacy, challenging juvenile court orders under applicable federal and state law. Through strategic litigation, Attorney Serobian holds government actors accountable for constitutional violations, including warrantless removals, judicially deceptive warrants containing false statements or material omissions, and infringements on individual decision-making rights under the First, Fourth, and Fourteenth Amendments to the U.S. Constitution, as well as corresponding state protections. Her practice also includes select criminal appeals and complex law-and-motion matters.

In recognition of her thought leadership, Attorney Serobian was honored to serve as a lecturer at the 2023 California Appellate Defense Counsel Conference, where she presented on the critical issue of “Illegal Silencing of Parents.”
