How do you define innovation in the context of modern plastic surgery, and what does it mean to you personally as a surgeon?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Innovation means remaining curious and dedicated to being informed about what\u2019s going on in all aspects of medicine. As a surgeon, it is important to provide holistic care to my patients, extending beyond aesthetic outcomes. In the context of my practice, innovation means adopting and developing new practices that improve patient safety and the overall patient experience. It means constantly asking: How can I deliver a better result with less downtime? How can I refine my approach to support my patient's recovery and healing capacity?<\/p>\n

When I developed our signature techniques, such as \u201cSurgery in a Syringe\u2120\u201d<\/strong> and the \u201cTubeless Tuck\u2120,\u201d<\/strong> I viewed them as meaningful iterations of care, built on rigorous training and research. As a surgeon, I feel a responsibility to contribute to scientific advances in aesthetics, pushing the boundaries of what we can achieve and elevating artistry, precision, and patient-centric care. For this reason, I am committed to continuing my involvement in clinical trials, supporting the development of new products and practices, and attending academic conferences where I can learn from and instruct other medical professionals.<\/p>\n

What emerging technologies or techniques have most transformed your approach at LUXURGERY in recent years?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Over the past several years, we have implemented many emerging techniques that have reshaped the delivery of aesthetic care. One of the most transformative has been the evolution of non-surgical contouring. Through our Surgery in a Syringe\u2120<\/strong> technique, we can now achieve targeted fat reduction and sculpting with injectable treatments such as deoxycholic acid (Kybella\u00ae), allowing us to refine the jawline, chin, and body with precision and results once achievable only through surgery.<\/p>\n

Similarly, I have been incredibly impressed by the outcomes of alloClae\u2122,<\/strong> a minimally invasive fat transfer procedure that allows precise placement of purified fat to restore volume and contour without the downtime associated with traditional fat grafting.<\/p>\n

We have also witnessed remarkable advancements in skin and tissue tightening. Energy-based devices such as Renuvion\u00ae (J-Plasma)<\/strong> have revolutionized how we contract and contour tissue beneath the skin. These technologies stimulate collagen remodeling and support natural lifting, helping patients achieve significant results without an extensive recovery period.<\/p>\n

To support our patients\u2019 healing following aesthetic procedures, we have employed techniques emphasizing regenerative medicine. Secretome <\/strong>is a stem-cell-based therapy that has shown tremendous potential in supporting cellular regeneration, reducing inflammation, and improving post-procedure recovery.<\/p>\n

Finally, innovation extends to how we manage the entire patient journey. At LUXURGERY, we have refined recovery protocols, optimized post-surgical scar care, and designed personalized post-operative regimens that incorporate regenerative medicine to accelerate healing. Each of these advancements reflects our core philosophy that innovation and artistry must work in harmony to deliver safe, enduring outcomes.<\/p>\n

How do you balance embracing new advancements with maintaining your signature aesthetic philosophy?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I don\u2019t find this balance difficult. In fact, my signature aesthetic philosophy aligns with the principles of the Hippocratic Oath: to always act in my patients' best interests. Innovation must never replace sound judgment or patient safety. Instead, it should enhance our ability to deliver outcomes with greater precision and less invasiveness for our patients.<\/p>\n

Every advancement that I incorporate into my practice is thoroughly vetted through research, training, and clinical results. In that sense, embracing innovation doesn\u2019t change my aesthetic philosophy, but it reinforces it. It allows me to improve patient recovery and elevate the overall experience without compromising natural, balanced results. My approach remains grounded in understanding anatomy and science, maintaining expertise in my field, and leading with empathy for my patients.<\/p>\n

In what ways do innovation and artistry intersect in your work, and how do they contribute to the patient experience?<\/strong><\/p>\n

For me, innovation and artistry are inseparable. Innovation gives us the tools, and artistry provides the vision. Technology allows me to refine the process, be more precise, minimize trauma, and reduce recovery time. Artistry, to me, means understanding anatomy, balance, and proportion.<\/p>\n

Together, this ensures that each decision, whether an incision placement or an injectable mapping, supports a harmonious, individualized result. When innovation and artistry intersect, it is evident in every step of the patient experience. Consultations become more collaborative<\/strong>, procedures become more comfortable<\/strong>, and clinical outcomes are optimized<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
