Was there a personal and\/or professional experience that inspired you to open your practice?<\/h3>\n

After completing my training as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), I found myself drawn to the aesthetic field. I started working in the industry and quickly realized it was my true passion. Seeing the positive impact I could have on people\u2019s confidence and well-being was incredibly rewarding. I worked for four years in aesthetics, learning advanced techniques and gaining hands-on experience. During this time, I realized that I wanted to create a space where I could provide personalized care, combining my medical expertise with a focus on natural, beautiful results. This led me to open Aesthetic Island\u2014a place where I could offer the highest quality treatments while making clients feel comfortable, confident, and cared for. It was both my love for aesthetics and the desire to help people feel their best that inspired me to take this step.<\/p>\n

What was your mission at the start of opening your practice? Has it changed?<\/h3>\n

My mission when I opened Aesthetic Island was simple: to provide personalized, high-quality aesthetic treatments that enhance my clients\u2019 natural beauty while making them feel confident and cared for. I wanted to create a space where people could trust they were receiving expert, safe, and effective care using the most advanced techniques and FDA-approved products.<\/p>\n

That mission has remained the same, but as the practice has grown, my focus has expanded. I\u2019m now even more committed to offering a broader range of services and staying on the cutting edge of aesthetics. I\u2019ve also developed a deeper understanding of how important it is to create a warm, welcoming environment where clients feel comfortable asking questions and being involved in their treatment plans. The heart of my practice, helping people look and feel their best, has never wavered, but I\u2019ve become more dedicated to making every client\u2019s experience as personalized and positive as possible.<\/p>\n

If you had to pick three words to describe the vibe of your practice, what would they be and why?<\/h3>\n

We use only FDA-approved products and techniques, and our highly trained medical professionals ensure that every treatment is performed with the utmost care and expertise.     How did you come up with the name of your practice?<\/h3>\n

    Funny story, actually! I must give credit where credit is due my husband came up with the name \u201cAesthetic Island,\u201d and I instantly fell in love with it. We\u2019re located on Coney Island, and since I work in aesthetics, the name felt like the perfect blend of both worlds. I also loved how it aligned with my vision of creating a retreat-like experience for my patients. I wanted them to feel relaxed and let their self-care take over, almost like they\u2019re on vacation with a pi\u00f1a colada in hand. It really fit the vibe I wanted for the practice where beauty and relaxation meet!<\/p>\n

    What are the most popular services requested?<\/h3>\n

    At Aesthetic Island, all our services are popular, but the ones that truly stand out the most are PRP\/PRF treatments<\/strong>, Botox<\/strong>, and fillers<\/strong>. These treatments consistently deliver incredible results, offering our clients rejuvenation, wrinkle reduction, and enhanced facial volume for a refreshed look.<\/p>\n

    What is the future of your field?<\/h3>\n

    The future of the aesthetic field is incredibly exciting, with advancements in technology and treatments pushing the boundaries of what we can achieve. I see non-invasive and minimally invasive treatments becoming even more popular as clients are looking for effective results with little to no downtime. Technologies like radiofrequency skin tightening<\/strong>, laser treatments<\/strong>, and advanced injectables<\/strong> are evolving to deliver even more precise and long-lasting outcomes.<\/p>\n

    Another key trend is the rise of personalized treatments<\/strong>\u2014customized plans that are tailored specifically to each client\u2019s unique needs. With advancements in skin analysis tools and injectable products like biostimulators<\/strong>, the focus will shift even more toward treatments that encourage the body\u2019s natural regenerative processes.<\/p>\n

    Additionally, the integration of wellness and aesthetics<\/strong> will likely continue to grow, with more clients seeking treatments that not only enhance their appearance but also improve their overall well-being, such as IV therapy<\/strong> and hormonal balance treatments<\/strong>.     What makes Aesthetic Island unique is the personalized approach we take with every client. From the moment you walk through the door, our focus is on understanding your individual beauty goals and providing treatments that are tailored specifically to you. We prioritize transparency and safety, using only FDA-approved products and offering full visibility of the treatments we provide.<\/p>\n

    Another unique aspect of our practice is the combination of cutting-edge technology and a relaxing, retreat-like environment. We aim to make each visit not only effective but also enjoyable, giving clients a space where they can truly unwind while receiving top-quality care.     I'm excited to introduce two new services at Aesthetic Island: non-surgical BBL<\/strong> and non-surgical rhinoplasty with dermal fillers<\/strong>. These treatments deliver amazing results without the need for invasive surgery. The non-surgical BBL is a fantastic option for shaping and enhancing the buttocks, particularly for addressing hip dips, while the non-surgical rhinoplasty allows clients to refine and reshape their noses with subtle yet effective results, all with minimal downtime. I\u2019m thrilled to offer these innovative options to my clients who are looking for non-invasive ways to achieve their aesthetic goals.<\/p>\n

    What is one underrated service that doesn\u2019t receive as much press as it should be?<\/h3>\n

    One underrated service that doesn\u2019t receive as much attention as it should is PRP\/PRF treatments<\/strong>. While these treatments are well-known in some circles, they deserve far more recognition for their incredible benefits. PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) and PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) use the body\u2019s own healing factors to rejuvenate the skin, promote collagen production, and improve texture and tone. They\u2019re perfect for clients looking for natural, subtle enhancements with long-term benefits. I often recommend PRP\/PRF to clients because of its versatility and the beautiful, natural-looking results it can achieve, yet it doesn\u2019t always get the spotlight compared to more popular treatments like Botox or fillers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
