Rita Hazan<\/strong><\/a>, celebrity colorist and owner of the namesake <\/span>Rita Hazan Salon<\/b><\/a> in New York City, is the genius behind Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s blonde evolution. She spoke to <\/span>Harper\u2019s Bazaar<\/b><\/a> and shared all the tips and tricks to getting the ultimate Beyonc\u00e9 \u2018do, \u201cThis version of blonde we went with for Renaissance has a little more dimension [than her past blonde], so the highlights placed throughout her hair stand out a little more than usual.\u201d If, like us, you\u2019re dying to try out the singer\u2019s new shade, Hazan shares exactly what to tell your colorist, \u201cAsk for dimension, but not too much. You don\u2019t want chunky fine highlights. Also, don\u2019t be afraid to lighten your natural color one to two shades. It should not make your color look orange. Lightening the base can make your hair look softer, which brings it all together so it doesn\u2019t look overly stripey.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
