The serenity of his spring\/summer 2021 show, which saw a handful of models gracefully walk a wooden runway that snaked through a wheat field outside of Paris, demonstrated Simon Porte Jacquemus<\/a><\/strong>\u2019 gifted eye for all things beautiful. So naturally, we\u2019re hoping the 31-year-old French designer takes notes from his work in the fashion industry when leaping into the realm of beauty.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Last week, a <\/span>WWD<\/a><\/strong> article reported that Jacquemus will partner with Spanish beauty company Puig\u2014whose brand portfolio boasts Jean Paul Gaultier, Dries Van Noten and Christian Louboutin\u2014to venture into the beauty world with his eponymous label. Although Jacquemus has yet to disclose the potential beauty line himself, the first launch will apparently be released in 2022.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
