It can feel difficult to relate to celebrities \u2014 and their persuasive \u201cthis-totally-works\u201d reviews that promote their own beauty brands \u2014 when they look seemingly perfect on the red carpet and don\u2019t publicly reveal how they cope with their imperfections. But we can relate to Hailey Bieber<\/a><\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Though she looked absolutely flawless in paparazzi pictures covering her recent Met Gala<\/a><\/strong> appearance, the 24-year-old model once opened up about her struggles with adult acne in a 2020 interview with <\/span>ELLE UK<\/a><\/strong>: \u201cWhen I went on birth control for the first time a few years ago, my skin totally changed. I'd never had any kind of acne before, whereas now I'll get hormonal break outs from that.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For that reason \u2014 and the fact that she regularly shares beauty advice on Instagram \u2014 we think Bieber\u2019s eventual skincare line \u201cRhode\u201d will be different from other celebrity beauty brands.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
