Dr. Katherine Lorenzo Sirage<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>is a general and cosmetic dentist and owner of Mirage Dental Arts in Miami, Florida. She is fluent in both English and Spanish. I was born and raised in Miami, Florida to Cuban immigrant parents. Seeing the hardships my parents went through in order to give me and my siblings a life filled with opportunity has been my biggest motivation. Being the third generation of dentists in my family, I have always been immersed in the dental field and discovered my passion early in life.<\/p>\n

I really enjoy changing my patients' idea of what it is like to go to the dentist and make it a positive experience. Each patient is unique and should receive dental care specific to their individual needs, and that is why I spend time getting to know my patients' concerns and expectations.<\/p>\n

What is the biggest misconception about your field?<\/h3>\n

That dentistry has to be terrible or painful.<\/p>\n

What is your most memorable patient reaction?<\/h3>\n

A smile is the first thing someone notices when they see you. Imagine how tough it can be on someone's confidence to not have a smile that lives up to their standards or expectations. Many times when I show a patient their new smile, they begin to cry and it makes me very emotional as well. I am so grateful I can help patients not only become healthier, but also feel more confident about themselves<\/p>\n

What sets your practice apart?<\/h3>\n

What do you love most about your profession?<\/h3>\n

When it comes to my career as a dentist, my favorite part has to be transforming my patients' lives. Whether its giving them the confidence they wanted, removing their anxiety or helping them get out of pain.
