A neck lift is a surgical procedure to remove loose skin and excess fatty deposits under the chin and jaw. In addition, the platysma muscle bands are tightened to help restore a more youthful jawline and neck.<\/p>\n

The average age range is anywhere from 45 to 75 years old for a neck lift.<\/p>\n

Someone who is not a good candidate is one that has major medical issues that wouldn't allow surgery to be safe. Also, someone that is having a neck lift performed as a weight-loss measure.<\/p>\n

A neck lift is a surgery that improves loose neck skin and fat accumulation under the chin. In my hands, the surgery also improves sagging jowls. Both excess skin and fatty tissue are removed and the underlying muscle is tightened.<\/p>\n

The cost range depends on the amount of loose skin, etc. that needs to be removed on the patient so prices vary.
