Under Pearl\u2019s leadership, The Blue Card\u2019s annual operating budget has increased by 40%, outreach has expanded from 19 to 32 states.<\/p>\n<p>The Blue Card has provided more than $30 million to thousands of survivors for medical, dental, food, telephone emergency response systems, cancer care, home care services, hospital visits, and transportation expenses. Pearl's\u00a0philanthropic efforts have also led The Blue Card to receive The Independent Charities of America\u2019s Best in America Seal of Excellence, as well as a four-star rating by Charity
