Dr. Adarsh Vijay Mudgil<\/strong><\/a> is a double board-certified doctor specializing in dermatology and dermatopathology with a keen focus on skin disease. His dynamic specialization allows him to care for patients of all ages in both a clinical and cellular perspective.\u00a0 Dr. Mudgil is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Society of Dermatopathology.<\/strong> He has published extensively in the medical literature as well as lectured at numerous national meetings. Currently, he is a\u00a0member of the Mount Sinai School of Medicine<\/strong> teaching faculty, where he is actively involved in the education of medical students and resident physicians. Haute Beauty caught up with the New York Super Doctor<\/a> who dishes on his most requested procedures, the future of his field, what he is best known and his career-defining procedure.<\/p>\n

My greatest achievement...<\/h2>\n

Building a successful dermatology <\/a>practice from scratch, drowning in debt and without a dollar to my name.\u00a0 It's hard to believe how far things have come in 10 years!<\/p>\n

The future of my field is...<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Non-invasive<\/a> face and body rejuvenation.\u00a0 Devices are becoming more and more sophisticated year to year - it's very exciting to see the field evolve.<\/p>\n

The biggest misconception about my field is...<\/strong><\/h2>\n

That it's all Botox<\/a> and filler!\u00a0 Skin cancer detection and screening is a big part of my practice.<\/p>\n

My most requested procedures are...<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The number one procedure by far is Botox.\u00a0 PRP injections<\/a>, various laser procedures, CoolSculpting, and filler injections aren't far behind.<\/p>\n

What are you best known for?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Providing my patients with a natural, more youthful look.\u00a0 The goal is for someone to look like a refreshed version of themselves and not like they \"had work done.\"<\/p>\n

What is your most memorable patient reaction?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The hugs I get after successfully addressing an issue that troubles my patients.\u00a0 Nothing is better than that!<\/p>\n

What sets my practice apart is\u2026<\/strong><\/h2>\n

I operate a very small, boutique patient-focused practice.\u00a0 Every treatment is individualized and the care we provide is at a concierge-type level.<\/p>\n

What I love most about my profession is...<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Every day is different and every patient is different!\u00a0 I interact with 30-50 different people on the days I see patients.\u00a0 I'm a very social guy, so this makes my days a lot of fun!<\/p>\n

Liquid facelifts<\/a> and Botox - I love doing both and really get to let my artistic side shine!<\/p>\n
