DC:<\/strong> Cellulite <\/a>has always been one of the most difficult conditions to treat in plastic surgery.\u00a0 Cellulite is caused by small ligaments holding the skin down and irregularities in the superficial fat.\u00a0 Non-invasive treatments such as endermologie work by creating swelling in the skin which gives a temporary improvement but does not treat the cellulite.\u00a0 Cellulaze is the first and only FDA approved laser treatment for the permanent correction of cellulite.\u00a0 This minimally invasive treatment can be done under local anesthesia through a 2mm incision.\u00a0 The laser fiber breaks the ligaments holding the skin down, smooths the superficial fat layer and causes skin tightening.\u00a0 The combination of these three things leads to a dramatic and permanent improvement in the appearance of cellulite.<\/p>\n

HB: What body contouring treatments would be ideal for those looking to tone specific areas?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

DC:<\/strong> When my patients come to me asking what treatments can tone specific areas like the abdomen and buttocks, my answer always is: Emsculpt.
