Dermasweep<\/strong>
\nWhy not shed dull, dry winter skin along with all those extra layers of clothing? \u201cDermasweep offers all of the exfoliating, skin-rejuvenating benefits of microdermabrasion without the mess of aluminum oxide crystals\u2014plus the ability to customize treatment with various \u2018infusions\u2019 that target specific skin concerns,\u201d explains Dr. Grover. Using vacuum suction to whisk away dead, dull cells, deep-clean the pores and promote circulation for a fresh-faced glow, it\u2019s the ideal downtime-free treatment for visible signs of aging, discoloration, acne, scars and more.<\/p>\n

Clear + Brilliant<\/strong>
\n\u201cEssentially a less intense version of Fraxel skin-resurfacing, this 30-minute (or less) treatment helps refine skin texture and clarity while improving the appearance of fine lines, pores, dullness and other skin concerns,\u201d says Dr. Grover. Mild redness and slightly grainy skin texture are possible for a few days afterwards, but it\u2019s small price to pay for fresher, visibly healthier-looking skin.<\/p>\n

Chemical peels<\/strong>
\nThe beauty of chemical peels is that they can be customized to meet a patient\u2019s downtime restrictions as well as their desired outcomes. Dr. Grover often recommends trichloroacetic acid (TCA) peels, which can be performed as a series to eliminate visible side effects of treatment afterwards, or as one or two deeper peels for quick, significant improvement in wrinkles, unwanted pigment and acne. \u201cThese peels also provide ongoing improvement thanks to a stimulating the body\u2019s natural collagen production,\u201d Dr. Grover adds.<\/p>\n

\nShorter hemlines and sleeveless tops call for fuzz-free skin, and starting laser hair removal now can have you ready to bare all once the temperatures heat up. Dr. Grover recommends a series of laser hair removal sessions for optimal results and says,\u00a0\u201cThis treatment helps eliminate the hassle of shaving, waxing, plucking and other hair removal methods so you can enjoy smooth, soft skin from head to toe with minimal maintenance.\u201d<\/p>\n

Non-invasive fat-reduction<\/strong>
\nLiposuction surgery isn\u2019t the only solution for stubborn bulges of fat that just won\u2019t budge despite a healthy diet and regular exercise. Non-invasive fat-reduction treatments such as Vanquish (which uses radiofrequency) or CoolSculpting (which uses cold energy to freeze and destroy fat cells) can help target trouble spots and deliver a slimmer silhouette over a series of treatments\u2014and have you bikini-ready by the time beach season comes around.<\/p>\n

\nAccording to Dr. Grover, \u201cSagging skin is a common concern on both the face and body, and the latest version of Exilis uses computer-controlled radiofrequency and ultrasound energies to remodel existing collagen within the skin and prompt the natural production of more.\u201d This effective solution for wrinkles, skin laxity and loss of elasticity also helps ensure\u00a0patient comfort by monitoring skin temperature from start to finish and delivering surface cooling as collagen-stimulating heat is sent deep into the skin.
