PDO thread lift is a novel approach to non-surgical face, eyebrow and neck lifting. The PDO thread lifting procedure helps to\u00a0regenerate and improve the structure\u00a0of the face and body without the need for surgery. This is a relatively simple treatment, which requires only one\u00a0or two sessions of 30-45 minutes, using a topical local anesthetic.<\/p>\n

It uses special threads, which are introduced into the\u00a0skin with a very fine needle to lift the tissue and\u00a0improve skin texture. The threads are made of polydioxanone (PDO),\u00a0which is a material that has been used in medicine for\u00a0many years, mainly in surgery. Research has shown that PDO stimulates\u00a0neocollagenesis, which encourages the production of\u00a0new collagen in the skin.<\/p>\n

Different lengths of thread are used for different areas\u00a0of the face. Short strands of threads can be used to treat\u00a0fine lines around the eyes, while thicker strands can be\u00a0injected into the cheek area or jaw line.
