A memoir and a beauty guide of sorts, with a forward penned by Caitlyn Jenner, the book<\/a> chronicles Cayne\u2019s ascend to fame as the first transgender actress to command prime-time television with Dirty Sexy Money<\/em>. Weaved into the narrative of her childhood in 1990s\u2019 Hawaii and her quest for self-acceptance are Cayne\u2019s makeup, hair and skin care secrets.<\/p>\n

Throughout the pages of the book, which deputed on June 20, the 45-year old star has assembled a collection of fashion and beauty how-tos by makeup artists, designers and stylists. What comes forth is a blueprint of Cayne\u2019s unapologetically sexy yet appealingly natural poise.<\/p>\n

\u201c I want to be able to go to a red carpet event and then run down to the beach and play a game of beach volleyball,\u201d she said to Vogue<\/em><\/a>,\u00a0referring to her simple beauty routine that draws inspiration from Hawaii\u2019s relaxed lifestyle and paints chic morning-to-night looks.<\/p>\n

Before resuming her role as the fairy queen in the third season of SyFy\u2019s The Magicians<\/em>, Cayne is to embark on a countrywide tour to promote Hi Gorgeous<\/em>, <\/em>which retails on Amazon for a little less than $16.<\/p>\n
