The technology-driven boxing studio recently arrived in Midtown Miami<\/a>, bringing a fresh new take on boxing to the neighborhood. The sleek studio boasts state-of-the-art technology with 30-bag workout classes and personal training sessions. The Box incorporates cutting-edge technology through their 30 heavy bags in the studio that are equipped to track boxers\u2019 \u201cknockout score,\u201d a quantitative metric measuring activity and encouraging improvement.<\/p>\n

The fitness spot offers something for everyone\u2014whether starting at beginner level or seeking advanced sessions, The Box has you covered, featuring a mix of high-intensity interval training and body-weight exercises that burn calories and tone muscles in a group setting. If you prefer to go one-on-one for a more private session, personal training is also available.<\/p>\n

The workout consists of 45 minutes of boxing-inspired workouts, starting with a warm up, a guided shadowbox, boxing combined with body exercises, and then boxing bag work.The dim lights of the studio combined with the invigorating music work in conjunction to mimic the intensity of the workout,\u00a0pumping you up to power through the entire routine.<\/p>\n

The man behind The Box is professional boxer, Alvin Davie, who is the owner and head trainer of the studio. After transitioning from his football career, Davie fell in love boxing. \u201cThe moment I threw my first punch I knew there was no turning back,\u201d he said. \u201cI look forward to sharing this passion that myself, and the rest of The Box team has with Miami in our new studio.\u201d<\/p>\n
