SO you can imagine our response when we got word that fashion photographer Steven Klein<\/strong> would be doing a limited edition collection with NARS. Unique packaging, colors and cases influenced by Klein will define the collection. His signature photography style, which is characterized by cool colors, mildly clinical settings, masks and kinky overtones, can bee seen on the packaging.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve always had the highest regard for Fran\u00e7ois\u2019 work,\" says Klein. \"He is the pioneer of moving from one of the greatest makeup artists to creating great makeup. It is super exciting for me to collaborate using my photographs and joining them with his cosmetic genius.\u201d<\/p>\n

The pairing makes so much sense since Fra\u00e7ois Nars is known for being on the cutting-edge of make-up. And the colors and combinations are bold. A blush called Vengeful Dual-Intensity Blush combines two colors that are far from the usual pink and rose one usually associates with blush. Instead it offers up a champagne shimmer and a deep red that when combined, give just the right color for the cheek without giving into the expected.<\/p>\n
