Founded by identical twins and licensed estheticians, Marisa and Adriana Martino, SKINNEY Medspa has become a go-to destination for anti-aging treatments and body contouring.
Laying The Foundations
Marisa and Adriana embarked on their journey in anti-aging skincare after obtaining Esthetics Licenses from Lia Schorr Academy in New York. Starting their careers in Orlando, Florida, they honed their expertise in non-ablative, non-invasive lasers, specializing in laser hair removal and esthetics at the Florida College of Natural Health.
Their entrepreneurial venture began with valuable experience at a leading NYC Medspa. In 2013, they established their own spot, embracing cutting-edge technologies like Alma Harmony XL SR, HR, Pixel, Thermage, Lipotron 3000, and Chemical Peels. Juggling multiple roles, including treatments, reception, marketing, and business development, they laid the foundation for what would become the successful SKINNEY Medspa.

Expanding Horizons
The demand for their services led to the opening of a temporary second location, while they were constructing their SKINNEY Flagship Flatiron, which officially opened its doors in October 2014. The business continued to flourish, prompting the addition of advanced technologies like CoolSculpting, Fraxel, Ultherapy, and Venus Freeze.
In a strategic move, SKINNEY Medspa relocated its initial location to the legendary Plaza Hotel, collaborating with Saks Fifth Avenue in April 2017 to introduce a spa-like experience for shoppers. With sustained growth, the Martino sisters realized their dream by establishing a standalone location in December 2019.
The success story continued into 2021 when SKINNEY Medspa expanded its reach, opening two additional locations inside Saks Fifth Avenue at Bal Harbour, Miami, Florida, and Houston Galleria, Texas.
