Was there a personal and/or professional experience that inspired you to open your practice?
I joined Pure Plastic Surgery as we share the same vision of patient-focused care, patient safety, and excellent outcomes. I come from a middle-class working family and have experienced firsthand the importance of incorporating everyone in the team to achieve a sense of belonging and encourage everyone to give their best for the patients. I found this same family feeling at Pure.
What was your mission at the start of opening your practice? Has it changed?
My mission when joining Pure Plastic Surgery was to contribute to their excellent trajectory while providing top care and safe outcomes to my patients. That has not changed and I don’t envision that changing in the future.
If you had to pick three words to describe the vibe of your practice, what would they be and why?
The practice exudes a distinctive vibe encapsulated in three words—family, safety, and compassion—creating an environment where patients experience a sense of belonging, utmost security, and genuine care.
What are the most popular services requested?
We specialize in body contouring surgery and the services most requested are liposuction, breast, and abdominoplasty procedures. But we also offer a wide range of aesthetic surgeries from facial work like eyelid surgery, facelift, and rhinoplasties to labiaplasties and extremity surgery.
What is the future of your field?
As people become more comfortable seeking to improve their image, I believe we’ll continue to see a rise in aesthetic procedures. I like to believe that the trends will focus on enhancing natural beauty rather than changing someone’s appearance, but we’ll have to see about that.
What are you best known for?
I’m best known for the relationships I like to build with my patients. But if you mean surgically, I don’t like to be boxed in an area, that’s the beauty of plastic surgery, whole body surgery.
What is unique about your practice?
We give each patient care and individual attention with a special focus on patient safety.
Are there any new services you are excited to offer?
We are now offering VASER liposuction which is a great adjunct to traditional liposuction to aid in skin retraction and decreasing blood loss. This is a great alternative for achieving an athletic look through a high-definition liposuction.
What is one underrated service that doesn’t receive as much press as it should be?
Eyelid surgery! People always think is very painful, but it is not. Is very tolerable and results can brighten and improve someone’s face from a tired look to a refreshed and well-rested look with minimal and almost unnoticeable scarring.
