Get Into It (yuh): The Grammys 2022 Brought Out The Best In Beauty And Music

The Grammy Awards took place last night in Las Vegas, attracting the biggest stars of the music industry and more. This year there were plenty of new artists to celebrate which means even more beauty and fashion looks to discuss after the show. And from PDA on the red carpet to unexpected duos, there’s a lot to unpack. Here are some looks from the night that we can’t stop thinking about.

Doja Cat

Despite the circulating rumors of her quitting music, Doja Cat showed out at the Grammys in an icy look that brought us all back to the ‘90s/Y2K era. She was dressed in a custom minty Versace dress covered in crystal detailing. The whole look came together with the help of her hairstylist Jared Henderson and her makeup artist Ernesto Casillas who used a total PAT McGRATH LABS look and the NEW! KISS Lash Couture Masterpiece Lash in Pret-A-Porter. Her frosted spiky hairstyle perfectly complimented the Y2K direction of her makeup and was definitely one to remember.

Hailey Bieber

The gorgeous model looked positively angelic in this simple glam look alongside her husband, Justin Bieber, on the red carpet. Hailey wore a loose-fitting ivory Saint Laurent gown, proving that less is more. Her hair and makeup were also kept very minimalistic and emphasized her natural beauty.

Celebrity makeup artist, Mary Phillips used all things PAT McGRATH LABS to complete the look. As always, her skin is glowing (a bit extra, thanks to Sublime Skin Highlighting Trio specifically shade IRIDESCENT PINK 003), so we hope this minimal look means we can expect to see her skincare line launch in the near future…

Olivia Rodrigo

Aside from her perfectly fitted Vivienne Westwood gown, we couldn’t take our eyes off of the singer’s stunning long locks. Her hair was styled in loose waves using all Dove products. Pre-blow dry they used Dove Hair Therapy 7-in-1 Miracle Mist, then after styling the look was finished off with Dove Extra Hold Hairspray and Dove Hair Therapy Brilliant Gloss & Repair Serum. Her hairstylist, Clayton Hawkins explains, “For Olivia Rodrigo’s Grammys look, we decided on shiny cascading waves to complement the angles of her edgy dress and bold cat eye makeup. We love to see all of the risks the young singer has been taking on the red carpet!

Megan Thee Stallion

The “Savage” singer has Revlon to thank for her Grammy look. Her team used her Revlon x Megan Thee Stallion Big Bad Palette to complete her look along with SkinLights Prismatic Highlight in Twilight Gleam, ColorStay Sharp Line Liquid Eye Pen, and So Fierce! Big Bad Lash Mascara. Celebrity makeup artist Lauren Child explained, “Complimenting her animal print dress, we made her ultra-black and dramatic cat-eye the focus.” Her glam team definitely accomplished this, making the tropical inspiration clear in her unique red-carpet look.
