On Oct. 1 Dr. Dhaval Bhanusali and Dr. Omar Noor launched, AIRE SkinStore, an innovative new platform that allows dermatologists across the country to curate product recommendations they love and trust while providing deep discounts for their patients.
Dr. Bhanusali and Dr. Noor were inspired to create AIRE Skinstore because they were tired of the frustrations that dermatologists (and their patients) experienced weeding through the thousands of skincare products for sale, researching each one to confirm their efficacy and paying too much money for them.
“We've had a ton of brands reach out to us to try to come on and we've said, no. They have to be either science-driven or dermatologist led or have a dermatology advisory board,” said Dr. Dhaval Bhanusali. “The idea is that it's curated by derms for dermatologists,” he adds. AIRE SkinStore launched with seven skincare brands by invitation only.
Ran and managed by a group of dermatologists, seasoned software professionals, support and training staff with years of experience in medical software development and medical billing services, the AIRE SkinStore's management team are pioneers in digital technology and include experts with over 10 years of EMR and digital health experience.
The platform is designed to run in both single and multi-location practice environments. It offers an easy-to-use interface that records patient history, examination, assessment, plan, as well as separate modules for past medical history, medications, and laboratory and pathology reports. Practitioners can all use free text, click-and-point technology or pre-designed templates for common dermatologic conditions. These templates prompt the practitioner to enter relevant information and can be customized to suit specific needs.
