He is one of the co-founders of Sun Microsystems, where he served as CEO and Chairman in the 1980s. He moved on to form his own firm in 2004, Khosla Ventures, where his primary investments are clean technology companies. The firm manages approximately $1 billion of investor capital as well as investments funded by Khosla himself.
