- Bio Vernon Davis is considered to be one the NFL’s best tight end players. He was drafted by the 49ers in 2006, upon which he signed a 5-year, $23 million deal, making him the highest paid tight end of all time. He has since re-signed with the 49ers and made it to the finals of the 2013 Super Bowl. His philanthropic ventures include the Vernon Davis Foundation, Gallery 85, which promotes art education and appreciation for youth, and the Vernon Davis Visual Arts scholarship, which he established in 2010.
