- Bio Chefetz can be credited with helping turn South Beach’s South of Fifth neighborhood into a luxury destination, with the opening of successful restaurants like Prime One Twelve and Prime Italian. Miami’s elite crowd descends upon the establishments night after night for a taste of the good life. In 2009, Chefetz debuted Prime Hotel & Lounge, a new boutique hotel adjacent to his restaurants. The James Beard Foundation recognized his efforts in 2009, as Chefetz was a semifinalist for the prestigious Outstanding Restaurateur award. He recently expanded his empire in February with the opening of his new restaurant, Prime Fish.
