- Bio Michael Mondavi’s career began in 1966, when he co-founded the Robert Mondavi Winery with his father. He moved from roles in sales to President and CEO, and later served as chairman in 2004 before leaving to start Michael Mondavi Family Estates. He is also co-founder and coach of Folio Fine Wine Partners.
