- Bio It is no surprise that Michael Mina’s empire is still growing. The celebrity chef and cookbook author is the founder of the Mina Group’s 19 restaurants, including San Francisco’s RN74, Bourbon Steak, Clock Bar and Michael Mina, which was awarded one Michelin star in 2014. As if all of this isn’t impressive enough, the James Beard award-wining chef also made news last year by launching his wine program, the Michael Mina Wine Club.
