- Bio Ron Howard came to fame as a child actor in 1960 on The Andy Griffith Show, and he hasn’t stopped since. The actor, producer and director cofounded Imagine Entertainment with Brian Grazer, won the Best Director Academy Award for 2002’s A Beautiful Mind, and, in 2003, was awarded the National Medal of Arts. He is also the creator of Canon’s Project Imagin8ion.
