On Saturday, October 6, SweatCon Rally is coming back to New York City for its second time this year. The all day fitness festival is taking over the hottest fitness studios the city has to offer including: Fhitting Room, SWERVE, FlyFIT at Flywheel, Flywheel, Mile High Run Club, Yoga Vida, EverybodyFights, Solace New York, Y7 Studio, NEO U, CorePower Yoga, BRICK, and SWERVE.

Tickets are now on sale for $85/person. Additionally, the first 100 tickets sold will be entered to win a day with Nina Dobrev which includes an invite-only Reebok event featuring exclusive wellness panels and a sneak preview of Nina’s new Les Mills workout that will launch to the public this October.

We caught up with founder Tori Scott to learn more about this incredible movement.

Why did you create SweatCon Rally?

After founding Sweat Concierge in 2016, I wanted to create a space for our online reader to come off-line and connect in person with other like-minded health focused individuals to work out and have fun doing it. I also wanted to create a way for people to test out the best fitness offerings at “Sweat Concierge Approved studios” in their cities. At the end of the day our goal is to bring together fitness enthusiasts for an community experience unlike anything else.

What do you think has made it so successful?

One, the studios that we are partnering with offer top notch fitness products and two, the people that our brand is attracting come to have fun and sweat in the process. It’s the perfect combination.

Do you find a certain type of person is attracted to this event more so than others?

We’ve seen two types of people that are attracted to our events. The “fitness junkies”, the people who hit up all the new studios, workout 5 days a week and go nuts for all things fitness. And the other types are more casual exercisers who want to try new studios with their friends. We’ve seen that our events create a safe space for men and women to try out new studios that they may be have been too intimidated to try before or maybe didn’t know about. But what remains constant between the two groups is that they are both attending for the social experience.

How do you define what SweatCon Rally is?

A one day fitness experience where like-minded individuals can come together in local markets to party, connect and sweat.

What is your favorite part about the event?

The check-in party. The moment the doors open, the music comes on and people start to arrive; when your vision becomes reality. It gets me every time.
