Rachael Russell‘s highly-anticipated Style Saves Swim Show will be returning to Miami Swim Week on July 13th, 2018, for its 8th Annual show. The swimwear/resort fashion show will once again take place at the stately Setai Hotel‘s courtyard area for a highly unforgettable evening of fashion and philanthropy.

The show serves as a fundraiser for Russell’s personal non-profit foundation, Style Saves, which seeks to unite fashion and philanthropy by building confidence within underprivileged children in the Miami area through clothes. Russell and her team hold various events throughout the year to provide students with necessities, particularly for back to school, including uniforms, school supplies, prescription eyewear, and even Prom dresses during the springtime and suits for interviews.

The Style Saves Swim Show has proven to be the pinnacle event of the year, delivering a sold-out show each year since its inception. This year, the runway will showcase swim styles from Eberjey‘s SS19 collection, inspired by classic coastal escapes and romantic summer getaways. Additionally, luxury swimwear brand Onia will also be showcasing their Resort ’19 collection, inspired by the 1970s’ creative energy and newfound freedom.

“While we do so many events year-round, Style Saves Swim is the perfect representation of what we do best, uniting fashion and philanthropy,” said Russell, President and Founder of Style Saves and Fashion Director for Miansai. “This year, we are dedicating the show to Miami, a city that has shown us such great love and support over the past eight years. We hope to raise $100k in order to hit our goal of sending over 5,000 students back to school with essentials that most people take for granted.”

Given the show’s impressive track record and consistently sold out ticket sales, Russell’s goal should come to fruition. In addition to the show, Style Saves will also host an international online auction through Charitybuzz.com, giving bidders an opportunity to support the cause from all over the world if they cannot be present at the show. The auction goes live on the site on July 12th and includes enviable items like a wellness package and a staycation at the newly renovated Carillon Miami Wellness Resort; a stay at the 1 Hotel South Beach; and a 3.1 Phillip Lim handbag. Additionally, supporters may bid on shopping sprees, luxury goods, event tickets, gift cards, as well as memberships and vacations at premier destinations.

All the funds raised from the event will go toward supporting the upcoming Style Saves Back-to-School Event on August 18th and 19th, which offers students the opportunity to come “shop” the uniforms, accessories and school supplies at the non-profit’s new warehouse in Wynwood. The event benefits more than 2,500 students from organizations including Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Miami, Miami Children’s Hospital Foundation, Educate Tomorrow, Hope for Miami, Miami-Dade Public Schools and many more.

To get your tickets before they sell out quick, head to stylesaves.org to purchase in advance for $100. Tickets will be sold at $150 at the door of the event. Style Saves Swim Show begins at 9 p.m. on July 13th at the Setai Hotel.
