Celebrate Bastille Day 2018 At These Three NYC Restaurants

In honor of France’s Independence Day, several New York City restaurants will celebrate the festive holiday with French cuisine, live music and thematic libations. Take a look below at some of our favorite spots to indulge this Saturday.

Bagatelle

This Saturday, July 14th, Bagatelle will be celebrating Bastille Day and will include a Revolution themed brunch party and an Allon Enfants Dinner. The sky’s the limit when it comes to these festivities, so think Moulin Rouge complete with Can Can Dancers, French tunes and great cuisine from their new Executive Chef Andrew Riccatelli and delicious celebratory cocktails.

Bar Boulud

Daniel Boulud’s Upper West Side casual bistro will be taking over their outside terrace with can-can dancers and live music to celebrate the French holiday. There will be stations to purchase some favorite French food items such as Jambon & Gruyere crepes, Saucisse on Mini Baguette, Salmon Rillette, Sweet crepes with assorted fillings, Choux a la Crème (profiteroles with classic vanilla chantilly) as well as refreshing wines by the glass such as Rosé, Pol Roger, Beaujolais, Vin Blanc, and Hard Cider from Normandy. The celebration will take place from 12:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. and both adults and children are welcome.

Bistro Pierre Lapin

Celebrate Bastille Day at the newly opened Bistro Pierre Lapin, a French-inspired bistro from the talented chef Harold Moore in the West Village that provides a truly authentic experience. This Saturday, July 14 (or rather, le 14 Juillet), every guest who dines at Pierre’s will receive a complimentary glass of Veuve Clicquot Champagne to accompany their meal of time-honored bistro staples with a New York twist such as: Escargots with a sunny-side up egg, fava beans, and garlic sauce; Poulet à la Crème with sauce vin jaune and morel mushrooms; Tartine de Foie Gras au Beurre; Boeuf Bourguignon Ravioli; and more.
