Miami Beach-favorite 1 Hotel & Homes has paved the way of reinventing hotel design by “bringing the outside inside,” with a stunning white interior with touches of greenery and innovative eco-friendly design elements, instantly becoming one of the city’s top hotels. In addition to its already spectacular amenities and restaurants, as of December 2016, the hotel also boasts a brand-new state-of-the-art spa section. Located on the mezzanine level of the hotel lies three haute new openings: famed hairstylist Joel Warren‘s newest venture and first solo salon, Salótto Beauty for some pampering; the Bamford Haybarn Spa to unwind; and Spartan Gym to get your fitness regimen in.
You may know Joel Warren as the co-founder and former partner of Warren & Tricomi salon, and a favorite of celebs such as Molly Sims, Kate Beckinsale, Jessica Alba, Scarlett Johanson and more. However, Warren embarked on a change and thought of no better location than to mark his first debut as a solo owner than at the posh 1 Hotel & Homes location, opening up Salótto Beauty, which translates to a gathering for creative artists to come together–a fitting name to dub his fresh new venture. The chic, intimate salon keeps with the eco-friendly ethos of the 1 Hotel, with sophisticated and modern wooden and bronze finishes, unique dangling light fixtures, and white brick tiles adorning the walls, creating a trendy yet very personal pampering locale within the hotel. Warren plans on expanding the brand and creating additional Salótto locations within the near future. But lucky for us, we’ve got Warren to ourselves in Miami as he oversees the salon as its Creative Director for the first year.
To complete the whole experience, make sure to visit both the Bamford Haybarn Spa and the Spartan Gym next door to the salon to fit in some quality “me” time and also to keep your 2017 fitness resolutions going strong. The sleek white Bamford Haybarn Spa marks the famed European spa’s first U.S. location where guests can indulge in a selection of holistic treatments nurturing the mind, body and spirit from massage treatments, body services, facials, manicures, pedicures and more. The Spartan Gym, in direct partnership with the Spartan Race, brings serious training and expertise to the 14,000 square foot gym, where guests will be encouraged to focus on their endurance and strength. The gym will have public membership opportunities in the near future but for now, it’s exclusively hotel guests-only, with complimentary classes available.
