MarcPalermo

Having worked alongside legendary developer Tony Goldman, it is not surprising that Warburg Realty broker Marc Palermo has gained a reputation as the go-to broker for developers and clients with appreciation for the importance of revitalizing historic neighborhoods. “Tony was a true visionary and market maker. He taught me to think big, but keep the scale human – making decisions from the street up and not the boardroom down,” says Palermo who spent over 12 years with Goldman Properties in New York. There he helped revitalize landmark districts including Greene Street in SoHo and Stone Street in the Financial District.  Among his achievements during this time was the development of the residential condominiums at 101 Greene Street, the first new cast-iron building in SoHo in over 100 years; 109 Greene Street Condominiums; and 110 Greene Street, a mixed-use landmark commercial and residential property.

Marc also helped spearhead the revitalization of Stone Street and several of its historic buildings for  Goldman along with Harry Poulakakos.  Among the many projects he worked on in the area were the residential conversions of 85 Pearl Street, 79 Pearl Street and 15-17 South William Street into loft residences. Prior to joining Warburg Realty, Marc was a key member of the SHVO team in New York for over four years, overseeing the sales and marketing of several major condominium developments including Gramercy Starck, W New York Downtown and 20 Pine Street to name a few. He then brought his vast experience in development, design, sales and marketing to Warburg Realty, one of Manhattan’s oldest and most respected residential real estate companies.  He works in the firm’s Tribeca office, representing buyers, sellers and developers throughout New York City.

“Marc represents the best of our industry. He is diligent and thoughtful, combining deep industry knowledge with great instincts. No one is better suited to representing buyers AND sellers in high-level transactions,” stated Frederick Warburg Peters, president of Warburg Realty. Among his recent key sales  was a $9,000,000 four-bedroom condominium at 250 West Street in Tribeca, a 3,000-square-foot duplex Loft at 275 Water Street in the South Street Seaport, and a three-bedroom loft apartment at 161 Hudson Street in Tribeca, which sold for the highest price per square foot in the building. “At Warburg, I look forward to continuing to work with buyers, sellers and development partners to help realize the next great neighborhoods throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn,” Marc stated. In addition to several resale properties, Marc is currently working with developers in Tribeca, SoHo, Brownstone Brooklyn and throughout the city, including a new listing of five prime residences that span an entire floor at The Savoy on East 61st Street in Midtown.  Once combined, this spectacular 4,000-square-foot home will boast four balconies and views in every direction including iconic Central Park.
