Soccer Superstar David Beckham New Face of Breitling
When the best of one world meet the best of another, the result is bound to be legendary. Such is the case for Breitling’s newest collaboration; the luxury watchmakers announced today that soccer legend David Beckham has been chosen as the face of Breitling’s Transocean Chronograph Unitime Worldtimer watch. The collaboration between the historic Swiss brand and the highly celebrated British soccer player will reportedly be a long-term partnership.
The timepiece in question is fitting of this high-powered pairing; the Transocean Chronograph Unitime got the watch world buzzing when it was unveiled in the spring of 2012. For Beckham, who dominates not only the soccer pitch but also the international best dressed lists, this stunning timepiece is a natural fit. “I’ve always been a long-time admirer of Breitling,” Beckham explained. “As a company, they create not only the highest-performance watches but also timeless designs that have inspired generations. It was a natural choice for me to partner with this fantastic brand.”
Beckham was photographed for the company’s new print campaign by renowned American photographer Anthony Mandler. The award-winning soccer player is pictured standing in front of a private jet at the Mojave Air & Space Port in California, sporting the Transocean Chronograph Unitime. We’ve got your first look at the images below! We’ve also got your behind-the-scenes look at the making of the campaign in the video below!
