Reese Witherspoon has reportedly listed her Ojai ranch on the market with an asking price of $10 million.
The Wallace Neff ranch was originally created for Edward Libbey, who was best known as the “founding father of the town of Ojai.”
The beautifully designed home features colorful textiles, century-old hardware, fireplaces, arches, turrets, original stonework and Spanish tiles all restored by the previous owner, Million Dollar decorator and celebrity Kathryn Ireland.
Legally Blonde star Witherspoon purchased the home for $5.8M from Ireland back in March of 2008 around the same time the country house was featured in House Beautiful.
Elle Decor includes images of different styles used throughout the home with the help of designer Kristen Buckingham. The designer made use of a neutral color palette, along with ikat pillows, animal themed art, Turkish rugs, antiques and traditional seating. The outside includes a barn, two guest cottages, each has a private bath and fireplace, a pool and horse paddock, making this country home a must-see.
This is the same spot where Witherspoon married Jim Toth in March and also the very same location where Robert Pattinson was allegedly hiding out after his breakup with longtime girlfriend Kristen Stewart.
With such a big buzz around the property, it won’t be long before the Wallace Neff ranch is sold.
