Pushkin Museum Celebrates 100th Anniversary
After 100 years of wonderfully filled exhibitions in the largest museum of European art in Moscow, The Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts celebrates its 100th anniversary with a grand collection of artworks of the world’s top museums. This collection includes Italian art of the 16th-17th cc such as “The Portrait of an Old Man” by Giovanni Battista and Carpaccio’s “Birth of the Virgin.”
But that’s not all, classic paintings by Hieronymus Bosch, “Cutting the Stone” exclusively from the Prado Museum collection in Spain will be showcased in the museum’s Netherlands Room. Overall, the exhibition will display 46 artworks from 27 state and private collections from around the world.
