Emmy Awards Parties 2011
The 63rd Annual Emmy Awards went off without a hitch, and post-show, especially for the night’s winners, there was plenty to celebrate.
Red carpets and limousines lined the streets from the Los Angeles Convention Center in Downtown LA to Mr. C’s in Beverly Hills. Winners, nominees, and everyone in between sipped champagne and toasted yet another successful year of television entertainment.
At the HBO party, guests were served by waiters covered in temporary facial tattoos, and those at the Governors Ball were entertained by “living art performers dressed — perched on pedestals,” reports CBS.
“It’s like a drag queen’s birthday party, by which I mean it’s fabulous,” Emmy-winning Daily Show correspondent John Oliver said of the Governors Ball.
