And Then There Was One – LOUIS XIII Limited Edition Le Jeroboam crystal decanter
[highlight_text] It has been a part of some of the most renowned moments in history. [/highlight_text]
This LOUIS XIII Limited Edition Le Jeroboam crystal decanter is numbered 13 of 100 and the only piece from the global series offered in the United States, donated by the House of Rémy Martin to be auctioned to benefit the Ruby Peck Foundation for Children’s Education, which raises funds to provide children with access to educational programs. The gesture is one very much in step with the passions held in high esteem by LOUIS XIII founder Emile Rémy Martin, who supported the local libraries and schools of the Cognac region. With an estimated value of $23,000, the 3-liter crystal decanter is modeled after the metal flask discovered by Martin dating back to the 16th century—a shape that echoes the brand’s long-standing legacy of rarity and excellence. The fine cognac, often produced in very limited qualities, is made of the finest quality Grande Champagne grapes and aged up to 100 years. It has been a part of some of the most renowned moments in history, including the unveiling of the Orient Express, the maiden voyage of Le Normandie and the debut of the Concorde. Today LOUIS XIII continues to leave its mark by bestowing the opportunity to own this rare prize upon one single customer in the United States. Happy bidding.
