School will not be out for summer for Amar’e Stoudemire. The Knicks forward announced over Twitter this week that he’ll be continuing his education at the University of Miami in Coral Gables in his native Florida during the off-season. Stoudemire, who went straight from high school to the NBA, also flashed the school’s “U” sign in a photo accompanying the tweet. The 6’11” hoops star is sure to stand out on the campus as he pursues his bachelor’s degree in general studies and strikes fear in the hearts of the university’s intermural players. Meanwhile, Knicks management will hope their asset isn’t so drawn to the nightlife in nearby South Beach that he mulls a permanent move south.
