Haute 100 Miami Update: Two More Seasons for Donald Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice

Haute 100 lister Donald Trump is said to be in negotiations with NBC to continue hit-TV show The Celebrity Apprentice for two more seasons. NBC executives want to make a new contract with Trump before the season finale of The Celebrity Apprentice on May 20th.

Trump has typically singed contracts season by season, but NBC has made it clear that they want Trump to commit to at least two more seasons from the start. Trump has made no comments in regards to the negotiations, but back in March the mogul stated that he was considering other formats for The Apprentice. He has considered formats where college students would compete against Senior Citizens and even formats that include “very, very successful people that have run companies, even Fortune 500 companies, that are retired.”

Although negotiations have yet to be confirmed, there is no doubt that the next format of The Apprentice will stir enthusiasm amongst the show’s loyal viewers. The Celebrity Apprentice continues Sunday at 9/8c on NBC.
