- Bio The billion-dollar director is the force behind a slew of action-packed blockbusters including the Rush Hour trilogy, X-Men: The Last Stand and Movie 43. Coming soon: he directed Dwayne Johnson in the upcoming Hercules: The Thracian Wars, due out July 25. Ratner was also last year’s recipient of GLAAD’S Ally Award. His current project is an indie film called In the Company of Lies.
