A born and bred Californian, Alex studied business and visual communications at the University of San Diego and has a professional background in luxury marketing and multimedia arts. A lover of adventure and meeting new people, she made her way east to New York in early 2010 to experience the electric love of the concrete jungle. Since landing in the city, she has created an arts and lifestyle blog, NEWYORKPRETTY , designed a line of androgynous jewelry called THE/LINE and continues to lead creative marketing strategies for a New York-based art studio.
