Celebrity designer and Haute 100 New York member Donna Karan hosted the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund’s (OCRF) annual fundraiser on Saturday, July 30, along with TV personality Kelly Ripa and actress Emma Roberts in the Hamptons. The Super Saturday event was the 14th annual, and was successful in raising a well-needed $3.5 million to fund research for ovarian cancer, which causes over 15,000 deaths a year in the US alone.
On Saturday, Aug. 21, the foundation celebrated 15 years of leading the fight against breast cancer with a Gala party, HEAT, at honoree Steven Klein’s private residence in Bridgehampton. Event chairpersons were Christie Brinkley and Lisa Schifter Greenberg along with honorary chairpersons Kim Cattrall and Edie Falco.
