Luxury jewelry brand Yvel hosted an intimate cocktail, shopping and private dinner event at a private home in Bal Harbour to benefit WIZO, the Women’s International Zionist Organization. Yvel has created a cult following for its unique fine jewelry, most notably for its rare organic pearl designs, as well as natural diamonds, emeralds and sapphires to create one-of-a-kind pieces with only the best pearls or stones one can find.

Yvel Founder Isaac Levy created the brand with his wife Orna 30 years ago in Israel and has since evolved the brand into the prestigious jewelry-maker that it is today. Lillian Tabacinic, Chairperson of WIZO, invited guests to a unique private shopping experience where they got to chat with Levy and Tabacinic, learn more about the brand’s message and benefit the Women’s International Zionist Organization through partial proceeds from the event’s sales.

WIZO has maintained a strong commitment to its philanthropic work for the Jewish community, and through the organization’s contributions, they can be credited with building schools and youth villages where specialty programs as a dairy factory and an Auto-Tech instruction facility instill a strong work ethic into the students, with a mission of business sustainability. Specifically, it has dedicated much of its time and resources to educating and training Ethiopian Israelis and other immigrants — committed not only to women and children in Israel but the Ethiopian community through two Beit Tzipora Educational Centers in Israel.

The partnership was a perfect alignment, as Yvel shares the beliefs of WIZO in supporting the Jewish immigrant populations. Yvel has a design compound of approximately 150 employees that work at the 50,000-square-foot facility, where more than 90-percent of the employees are Jewish immigrants. Additionally, the brand features a special Megemeria line, which means Genesis, that the Ethiopian Jewish immigrants produce themselves.

Guests entered the stunning private home of a generous WIZO supporter in Bal Harbour, which featured picturesque views of the Miami skyline and deep blue waters that created the perfect backdrop for the elegant affair. Greeted with sips of champagne, attendees were granted a special personalized shopping experience with Yvel founder Isaac Levy and other members of the brand as they chatted with their friends and colleagues while admiring the lust-worthy jewelry pieces featuring dazzling diamonds and stunning pearls. After a heartfelt speech from Levy about Yvel’s strong commitment to giving back and supporting these underprivileged communities through education and career building, he stunned guests by pledging to match every dollar that was raised as a result of sales from the event toward WIZO. After, the group moved on to the beautiful dinner portion of the event.

Dinner was paired delectably with a fine selection of wines, and ended with a warm toast thanking everyone for coming out to shop and support an amazing cause.
