Haute Living and LOUIS XIII took to Miami’s latest hot spot, Swan Miami, to celebrate world-renowned tennis star Caroline Wozniacki and her Haute Living  Miami cover debut. Wozniacki and fiancé David Lee entered the room dressed to impress and looking happy as ever as they posed in front of the stunning cover and mingled with new and old friends before taking their seats for dinner. The couple is finally back in Miami resting during the holidays at their home on Fisher Island before Wozniacki returns to the Australian Open in January 2019 to defend her Grand Slam title.

The table was dressed gorgeously with Wozniacki’s Haute Living  cover, LOUIS XIII decanters, delicate red roses, dim candlelight and custom red LOUIS XIII menus for the meal. Dinner included Swan’s most beloved signature dishes including a Hamachi Tartare with crème fraîche and caviar, as well as a deconstructed Caesar Salad to start; the “Corn Corn Corn” with creamy polenta, popcorn and brown butter; Mushroom Pizza; and a Mediterranean-style Charred Octopus with paprika vinaigretta, cauliflower and orange for a second course. For mains, guests enjoyed an exquisite Creekstone Farms New York Strip with Port Wine and truffle; a Roasted Chicken with curry-carrot purée and buckwheat; Rigatoni with mushroom, apricot, spinach and parmesan; and finally, the pineapple tart and pavlova for dessert.

After the sweet end to the tasty meal, Haute Living CEO Kamal Hotchandani took to the center of the room to make a speech for Wozniacki. “There’s so much greatness in this room and we are honored to be here and celebrate with you,” he said. “There’s no better match for your success and excellence than our partners here in this room. We thank you for being here with us tonight so we can celebrate all of your accomplishments.”

He then called up artist Bradley Theodore to the stage to present Wozniacki with a custom painting he created for her, which featured a tennis racket—which he explained is an extension of her heart—two hearts (one for her, one for Lee), and he used the color pink, which is her favorite color.

Following this, LOUIS XIII Ambassador François Surcin commemorated the evening in the most luxurious fashion by holding a special “LOUIS XIII Moment,” where he invited Wozniacki to crown the decanter with him and the guests to all join in a special tasting. He also showed the “100 Years” LOUIS XIII video starring Pharrell Williams, where it explained the brand’s partnership with Williams and their mission to preserve the planet with the “100 Years” campaign.

After the clinking of glasses, tastes of the regal LOUIS XIII cognac and many more laughs, guests departed for the evening.
