The holidays are once again fast upon us. To celebrate, we have rounded up a few of our favorite places to dine out for Thanksgiving in Boston. From the Seaport District to Back Bay featuring everything from chocolate fountains to truffle supplements, here’s a look at some haute spots to celebrate with your entire extended family this holiday season. Over at the Seaport Hotel & World Trade Center, Aura’s annual Thanksgiving Brunch is being held next Thursday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. This lavish all-you-can-eat gourmet spread will be accompanied by a live performance from the Lance Houston Jazz Quartet. From breakfast favorites like eggs Benedict, French toast, and leek and truffle quiche to turkey day classics, including savory roast turkey with gravy, sirloin with Madeira mushroom sauce, cornbread stuffing, buttery mashed potatoes, and cranberry sauce, they will be serving it all. Be sure to save some room for their sweet taste of the holiday featuring cakes and pies, mini pastries, and even a decadent chocolate fountain the kids will surely love.

Abe & Louie’s

You might not think of reserving a table at a Back Bay steakhouse for Thanksgiving, but Abe & Louie’s is rolling out the red carpet this year with all the fixings. The specialty three-course menu features a choice among an autumnal mushroom stew, organic green salad and bacon-wrapped scallops to start. Move onto a juicy, all natural, Vermont raised roasted turkey dinner complete with apple and sage bread stuffing, braised Brussels sprouts, cranberry relish, whipped potatoes topped with pan turkey gravy. Finish it off with a choice of pumpkin pie, warm apple pie or blueberry pie with vanilla ice cream. The regular steakhouse menu will also be available all day.

Bar Boulud

No one does elegant better than the Mandarin Oriental and this Thanksgiving will certainly prove no exception. This holiday, they are not only offering a Thanksgiving dinner at Bar Boulud, but also featuring a full dinner to go along with a pop-up shop for pies. For dinner (served from noon to 9 p.m.), indulge in a three-course prix-fixe menu that features starters like Maine Jonah crab salad and pate en croute. Main events include Parisian gnocchi, Colorado leg of lamb and, of course, a traditional roast turkey dinner with Brussels sprouts and rosemary gravy. If you can’t make it for dinner, why not bring their fabulous cooking home? For four to six guests, order up the Gobble to Go in advance and they will do all the work for you providing a whole roasted turkey (or prime beef ribeye) along with all the trimmings (think root vegetables, mashed potatoes and giblet gravy). Don’t forget the pie pop-up where you can indulge purchase an apple, traditional pumpkin, glazed pecan, chocolate cream or pistachio-raspberry cream pie to indulge in at home. Another standout in Back Bay is Precinct at the Loews Boston Hotel, especially when it comes to those with a sweet tooth. On Thanksgiving Day, they will be featuring a specialty menu. From local cheese and charcuterie to butternut squash soup and raw bar samplings to start to a mustard crusted ham, seared scallops, an “1855 striploin steak” and rosemary roasted turkey with all the trimmings, you won’t want to miss booking a table here. Did we also mention there will be a sumptuous dessert buffet?

Petit Robert Bistro
This South End French favorite is rolling out the red carpet for Thanksgiving this year with a prix fixe menu. Here, you can start off with a choice of butternut squash soup or a mixed green salad before moving onto a traditional roast turkey dinner with all the fixings (think maple glazed sweet potatoes, Brussels sprouts, stuffing and mashed potatoes). Be sure to save room for dessert because Petit Robert always does them well. Choose among a pecan pie, creme brulee or apple pie. In addition to the prix fixe menu, the restaurant will also be serving their traditional menu.

Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse

Davio’s is offering a specialty dinner this Thanksgiving Day from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. featuring home-style classics including oven-roasted Vermont free-range organic turkey in a house-made gravy, Yukon Gold mashed potatoes, creamy cipollini onions with fresh peas and challah bread herb stuffing. Don’t forget to save room for a sweet slice of pumpkin or apple pie, or a pecan tart with Wild Turkey anglaise and sweet cream.

Deuxave knows how to serve dinner up in haute style, so it’s no surprise they will be offering a decadent three-course menu this Thanksgiving Day. From noon to 8 p.m., the prix fixe menu includes starters like spiced heirloom pumpkin and lobster soup, and pave of duck confit. Next up is a selection of main events. Choose from slow roasted salmon, braised bone-in beef short rib, a classic turducken (turkey, duck rillette and chicken boudin) as well as a traditional Misty Knoll farm turkey dinner made even better with green bean casserole and sweet potato mash.
