Haute Living And Zenith Celebrate Dolph Lundgren At MR CHOW

Last night on November 12, Haute Living, along with Zenith watches, celebrated Dolph Lundgren’s Haute Living Los Angeles cover at MR CHOW in Tribeca. This celebration also comes in anticipation of Creed II’s November 21 release when Lundgren reprises his role as the infamous Ivan Drago.

Much has changed in the 33 years since this epic on-screen showdown but three Rocky–themed films later Ivan Drago is back to face Rocky Balboa. The show isn’t totally over for these two former boxers: In Creed II, the follow-up to Ryan Coogler’s 2015 drama that focused on Apollo’s son, Adonis Creed (Michael B. Jordan), their rivalry lives on as they train up a younger generation—Rocky in the form of Adonis, and Ivan through his own fighting-machine offspring, Viktor (real-life Romanian boxer Florian Munteanu).

At the beginning of the evening guests were surprised by an appearance from New York Knicks icon Kristaps Porzingis, who’s nickname during his rookie year was “Young Drago”.

Guests enjoyed chicken satay, squab, MR CHOW’s famous noodles, and glazed prawns for the first course with velvet chicken, drunken fish, ma mignon, green prawns, and shrimp rice and string beans following for the second course. In between courses, guests including Lundgren, watched the exciting trailer for the upcoming Creed II film.

During the intimate dinner artist Paul Gerben presented Lundgren with a stunning piece of art that reflected his time during the Rocky-themed movies. Throughout the evening, guests were also invited to try on and view an array of different Zenith watches that were beautifully on display.
