11 Must-See Las Vegas Residencies Of 2019

Is Britney back? That’s what the rumor mill says. According to local and national news sources, Britney Spears is expected to announce her 2019 Las Vegas residency for Park Theater at Park MGM tonight at 7 p.m. during an event at Toshiba Plaza in front of the T-Mobile Arena on the Las Vegas Strip.

With or without the pop princess, Las Vegas is living up to its rockin’ reputation with a stella lineup of residencies for 2019 including Rock and Roll Hall of Famers, Grammy winners and other musical legends. Some performers like Celine Dion, Cher, Gwen Stefani and the Backstreet Boys are holdovers from 2018, while others including James Taylor, Van Morrison, Billy Idol and Aerosmith will start anew.

As we wait in suspense for tonight’s big Britney announcement (which will reportedly be made live on television host Ellen DeGeneres’ YouTube channel) here are 11 Las Vegas residencies you won’t want to miss in 2019.

Lady Gaga: Enigma + Jazz & Piano

Pop phenom and “A Star is Born” songstress Lady Gaga trades the silver screen for a Strip stage when she kicks off her residency at the Park MGM Theater in late December. One of the best-selling musicians of all time, the six-time Grammy Award-winning artist will go on to perform two distinctively different shows for her little monsters throughout 2019. The first show, “Lady Gaga Enigma,” features a collection of her greatest hits. The second show, “Lady Gaga Jazz & Piano,” is the stripped-down version of the first, along with popular American songs and jazz standards from the early 20th century.


Van Morrison

He is bringing his revered catalog to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace for a five-night engagement in 2019.


Aerosmith: Deuces Are Wild

In addition to performances from the band—Steven Tyler (vocals), Joe Perry (lead guitar), Brad Whitford (guitar), Tom Hamilton (bass) and Joey Kramer (drums)—the show will feature never-seen-before visuals and audio from their recording sessions.

Made up of Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Billy F Gibbons, Dusty Hill and Frank Beard, “That Little Ol’ Band From Texas” has sold millions of records over the course of their 50-year career. Now the officially designated “Heroes of The State of Texas” are headed for Nevada.


Billy Idol: Las Vegas 2019

Lip-curling, fist-pumping punk pioneer Billy Idol is headed to the the recently renovated Pearl Concert Theater in Las Vegas for “Billy Idol: Las Vegas 2019.” The show will cover Idol’s prolific career, ranging from his days fronting Generation X to mega-hits like “Rebel Yell,” “White Wedding,” “Dancing With Myself” and many more (Idol has nine top 40 singles in the U.S. and 10 in the U.K., after all). The global superstar will be joined on stage by longtime guitarist Steve Stevens.

Backstreet Boys: Larger Than Life
