As of October, luxury men’s fashion brand Jared Lang can now be found at Neiman Marcus. What originally started as a men’s sports shirt line has grown in the past eight years to an all-encompassing men’s lifestyle brand featuring dress shirts, swimwear, outerwear, hosiery, shoes and more. The launch of the brand at Neiman Marcus exemplifies the Lang’s recent growth and popularity among its consumers. This year has been extremely significant for Jared Lang as it also marked the brand’s first free-standing store at shopping mecca, Aventura Mall in Miami, FL. One of our favorite lines is the After Hours Collection, which embodies the Miami sophistication and flair, crafted with luxurious Italian linen. To talk more about the exciting news, Haute Living sat down with Lang himself to get the inside scoop.
HL: Tell us about the new relationship with Neiman Marcus. Why is this significant for your brand?
JL: Neiman Marcus legitimizes everything we have created over the last 7 years. Being part of Neiman Marcus, one of the most recognizable and sought-after high-end department stores in the country, is an incredible milestone for us. The Jared Lang brand is so excited to be sitting next to the most recognized and elite brands in the fashion industry.
HL: What about Neiman Marcus embodies the Jared Lang brand?
JL: Jared Lang is a luxury lifestyle brand and I believe that is what Neiman Marcus embodies—it’s a perfect fit.

HL: How is Jared Lang representative of Miami?
JL: Miami is a huge inspiration when it comes to our designs, and you’ll see this reflected throughout my collections, which features bright colors and vibrant prints. Having our first store at the Aventura Mall allows us to reach that audience every day.
HL: Who is the target market?
JL: Young Professionals, between the ages of 25 and 45. We’ve had a lot of success recently with athletes wearing our brand as well.
HL: What are some favorite pieces in the collection?
JL: Our After Hours collection combines detail-driven design, from the shirts’ slim fit to their European collars and cuffs, with an edgy flair that makes them perfect for a night out in Miami, and just about anywhere else. We are also very excited about our Atelier Jared Lang Made in Italy collection. It’s a step above anything in today’s market.
HL: Where do you see Jared Lang within the next 5 years?
JL: We’re exploring high-end department stores in Europe and Asia. Stay tuned!
